Katharine was raised to maturity in rural Pennsylvania, in a small log farmhouse near the blue mountains. She calls family a horse taming, secret family recipe making, strong Irish mother and a bear of a father who’s worked in steel, publishing, and as a guide in the Canadian wilderness.  

A second daughter, second sister, second aunt, Katharine started telling stories and creative truths to anyone who’d listen at the age of 3. She thrives on learning cities from those who live there, collecting the things that call to her, and creating a community based on communication and authenticity. She’s worked in Philadelphia, and New York City, but prefers a casual romance with each. She swears she once found pure happiness on a beach in southern Oregon.
